It is our mission to provide the home buyers of Southern Minnesota with quality built homes at a good value using the Amwood Building System. These packages provide quality homes through the use of name-brand products, constructing a significant portion of the home indoors and out of the weather, using innovative construction techniques, combined with extensive construction experience.  With system built homes, we are able to build homes with minimal waste and maximum cost control.

Bill Feder began building homes with his uncle, Ed Feder, back in 1962 in Madelia, Minnesota.  Starting in 1968, he started his own business, William Feder Construction.  Since that time, he and his family have moved to Mankato, Minnesota where his daughter, Hilary Pooley, has joined the team in the Sales and Marketing department.  We have also changed our name to give extra clarity to the purpose of our business.

Other members of our team include several hardworking, dedicated and loyal people.  We wouldn't trade any one of them for anything.  We have formed a bond that will last a lifetime...Just like we strive to do with all of our clients.

William Feder Homes, Inc. has built homes all across Southern Minnesota and on some occasions, wherever the client wants.  We build in several counties throughout Southwest and South Central Minnesota.  Some of these counties include, but are not limited to: Blue Earth, Nicollet, Brown, Faribault, Martin, Cottonwood and Redwood.

We feature over 500 different floor plans ranging in size from 864 square foot starter homes up to over 5,000 square foot homes of exceptional distinction.  If you don't see a floor plan that fits your lifestyle, simply bring in one that does and we will build from that as well.  Whatever you want, we will try to do.  The addition of Chief Architect has allowed us to customize any plan to fit your lifestyle, wants, needs and dreams.  The result is a floor plan with the right amount of blend, as well as design.  Samples of homes that we have built can be found on the Photo Gallery page.
